After months of rigorous research studying the market and running tests on the technology, Srisys has officially announced the launch of its smart phone application Pigeon. The current version 1.0 of the app aims at helping users navigate inside large facilities such as wildlife parks, shopping malls, medical facilities, educational facilities etc.
While further additions are being made to the application, the standards features that are part of the current version are indoor positioning, indoor navigation, events and notifications, and a special feature for supporting advertising.
Describing the functionality of Pigeon, Srisys’ spokesperson said, “It is a revolutionary technology as it combines indoor navigation with other features to assist in seamless collaboration between users of the app.”
The tech team at Srisys is already working on an updated version of the Attractions app which will focus on specific industry segments.
